A Special Family Tradition!
Create a holiday tradition your kids will treasure for a lifetime. Set on 80 hilltop acres in Sherwood, Oregon, the Sunny Day Tree Farm offers majestic views of the wine country of the Willamette Valley. Hosts Jon and Su Schatz make every person feel right at home, creating a wonderful experience for you and your family!

Sunny Day Tree Farm offers a great selection of Turkish Fir and Nordmann Fir Christmas Trees. We do NOT have any Nobles.

We make picking your own Christmas tree a fun day for the entire family. It’s a great way to start off your Christmas holiday season. Unlike most tree farms where you pay by the foot, all of our trees are the same price … just $50 for U-Cut or $55 for pre-cut! We accept cash and checks only, an ATM is on site.

No use of pesticides on any tree, we do not spray our trees!

Cozy up at the wood stove in our state-of-the-art tree barn! Always kid-friendly and merry, no matter the weather, it’s always a Sunny Day!

Our Story
With a long-standing history and family tradition, Sunny Day Tree Farm is set on 80 hilltop acres, ranging in elevation from 800 to 1000 feet. This special site offers a true country feel, with panoramic views of the Willamette Valley and a kid-friendly environment. We became the caretakers in August of 2003 and are the third owners of the Farm since the early 1900’s.

The Sunny Day Tree Farm was named after our Cat, Sunny Day Love, who was here when we arrived. We have taken great care in planting 35 acres of the Sherwood and Portland Christmas Tree Farm with a mix of Turkish Fir and Nordmann Fir Christmas trees.

We believe that cutting your own Christmas tree is a wonderful family tradition and have tried to make Sunny Day Tree Farm a special place for your family to kick off the Christmas season year after year.

Our tree barn features a warm and inviting reception area where you can sit by the wood stove and warm your bones and your soul! We invite you and your family to come on out and cut your own tree at Sunny Day Tree Farm this holiday season, where we think you’ll agree that every day is a sunny day!

Happy Holidays,
Su and Jon Schatz
